Meet
Meg

Meg, a female tiger born around 2015, was among more than 300 animals seized by Oregon authorities from the West Coast Game Park Safari, a roadside petting zoo that shut down after a lengthy criminal investigation into animal neglect. The other animals, mostly domesticated species, were rehomed in qualified facilities.

According to news reports, the facility had been cited 80 times in just two years for animal welfare violations. Investigators found empty food storage freezers, evidence that big cats were sporadically fed on donated scraps, and the body of a tiger stored in a freezer.

Meg may be small in stature, but her spirit and personality shine. Each morning, she races up and down the hill of her spacious habitat, exuding playful energy. She also enjoys swimming in her pool and being showered by caregivers with a gentle spray of water.

In quieter moments, Meg stretches out on her wooden platform, soaking up the sunshine and serenely surveying the world around her.
